DR. JOE OKEI-ODUMAKIN OPEN FIRST GRASSROOTS CONCERT FOR ANTI-VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN IN SANGO OTA WITH NOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR | @DrJoeOdumakin | @objectvmedia



NollyWood superstars, Dayo Amusa and Mr. Ayo Badmus on Sunday October 2nd, 2016 breezed into De Kelch at Sango Ota to open the first grassroots concert of Naija Unite Against Terror (NUAT).

The anti-violence campaign which is structured as an entertainment concert is aimed at taking local artistes and gifted persons at every region to showcase their gifts in songs, comedy and other skills while also preaching anti-violence message to inhabitants of the area.

The program organizers led by Mr. Olawoye Oluwasegun, also known as O’Law, the media director of ObjecTV Media said the essence is to use entertainment, which youths love, as the avenue to minister anti-violence messages to youths, while also identifying the best of talents from the areas. O’Law further explained at the program that the local talents would effectively arrest the inhabitants, since they were being ministered to by the artistes they are closely familiar with in their area.


Convener of the Naija Unite Against Terror (NUAT) and foremost activist, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin while declaring the program open  advised the native artistes to emulate discipline, diligence and peaceful nature of the Nollywood Stars who were present at the occasion.

Star actress, Dayo Amusa who is also a Women Arise anti-GBV Ambassador addressed the youths. She advised youths to take cognizance of their environment and be conscious of their behaviors for reason of avoiding terror and its tendencies among individuals and groups. She stressed that every youth must be ambassador against terror or any form of violence.


For his part, also, NollyWood star actor Ayo Badmus alerted the participants that criminal elements are only encouraged if not reported. He indicated that the quest to end terrorism is responsibility of every citizen, and must not be left for the Government alone.
 The event was also attended by other activists among whom is the Secretary General of the National Association of Technicians (NATA), Comrade David Ajetunmobi who insisted that supporters of terror activities must be brought to book as accomplices of crimes against humanity.
