Osun bomb blast suspect sentenced to death

Richard Abayomi Adesanmi has been sentenced to death by the Osun High Court for the bomb blast that occurred in 2007 in the vicinity of the Osun State Secretariat, Daily Independent reported.

The suspect will be hanged to death after he was convicted on all six charges bothering on murder and conspiracy to effect unlawful purpose.
The blast took place in a car that had parked near the Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development and killed one the vehicle occupants.Justice Aderibigbe when delivered the sentence stated "Richard Abayomi Adesanmi is sentenced to death for murder by hanging on his neck till he gives up the ghost.
