Boko Haram has killed 100 ex-soldiers in the north

100 ex-servicemen have been reported to be killed in the North-East part of the country by terrorist group, Boko Haram, according to Punch reports this afternoon

The disclosure was made by the National Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Col. Micah Gaiya (retd.), on Monday at the launch of the emblem for the 2015 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The legion caters for the welfare of ex-servicemen and persons who have distinguished themselves in the wars in which Nigeria has participated while appealing to the individuals and groups who made a pledge of N105 million naira to redeem their pledges.
